Eddie and Bingo

children's books are based on a true story, during the Korean War. Eddie, a young U. S Navy photographer, finds an unexpected crewmate in a little stowaway puppy. Eddie and his shipmates called him Bingo, as that was the captain's favorite game, keeping Bingo hidden was theirs!

Bingo was morale booster for the homesick sailors. Eddie soon   realized that life at sea was not a proper home for a puppy.  When the Captain finds out about the tiny new recruit, the crew is now tasked with finding a new home for Bingo in a foreign land...                   In Destination Christmas the captain and crew prepare to deploy back to Japan - wishing to be home for the holidays. 

Eddie hopes to be with his family in NYC- but will he instead receive the unexpected gift of seeing Bingo again...
